The journey begins at the beginning.
Entitled Clothing Company was started by designer Christine Phoenix and was birthed from a very basic belief that all women, regardless of age, shape or size, were entitled to wear clothing they felt beautiful in. The belief turned into a passion, and the passion a determined mission. Along the way, in the early days, a small but absolutely dedicated team of visionary and passionate women decided they too believed in the simple concept. These were our first stylists. For them the belief became a passion and the beginning of an amazing journey. With this small handful of people, Entitled Clothing Company was born.
Despite the cynicism of "plus sized" industry veterans that "big girls won't wear it, they just want to be comfortable", Entitled went into the homes of women where sales and excitement exceeded our expectations. With every piece available from size 8 - 32 at this time, no elastic waists, no baggy cover ups, just beautiful, structured cuts, in devine fabrics, Entitled grew 500% within 12 months and within 24 months, Entitled was a national company and had taken out the prestigious title of Telstra QLD micro business of the year, with growth exceeding all expectations.
Despite the success and celebrations, we have never lost focus of our core mission and passion. Every day, we feel more passionate about our mission, to see women bloom where they are planted. We are dedicated to solving the fashion problems of all women, but even more importantly, to provide the second skin for all women, regardless of size to feel just.. well..
